The Alberta Security Infrastructure Program (ASIP) is a Government of Alberta grant that funds security upgrades for communities at risk of hate-motivated crime — with published caps of up to $55,000 for nonprofits and $65,000 for eligible schools. Who the program lists as eligible
The program's published criteria list places of worship (mosques, synagogues, gurdwaras, temples, churches), cultural and community centres, faith-based schools (Islamic and Jewish schools and the Arabic bilingual stream open until Dec 31, 2026), shelters and cemeteries. How the program's process works
