Loch vs the national brands

Why our pricing is different

  • You own your gear — keep your equipment outright; the big brands only offer lock-in leases.
  • Fair, clear terms — month-to-month monitoring you can cancel with 30 days’ notice. No lock-in.
  • Transparent pricing — theirs comes from a door-to-door rep.
  • Local install & support — theirs routes through a call centre.

Common questions

Do I have to sign a long contract?
No. You own your equipment outright and monitoring is month-to-month — cancel with 30 days’ notice.

Can I spread out the cost?
We sell equipment outright so you own it and avoid lock-in. If you’d prefer a fully-monitored option, just ask and we’ll quote it for you.

Do you charge for a quote?
Never. Assessments and quotes are free.

Grant funding

Non-profit, school or place of worship?

The Alberta Security Infrastructure Program (ASIP) is a Government of Alberta grant program. Under its published criteria it funds security assessments, cameras, alarms and access control for organizations serving communities at risk of hate- or bias-motivated incidents, and applications for the expanded school stream are open until December 31, 2026. Loch Security provides site security assessments, itemized equipment quotes, and professional installation for the security work itself.

Loch Security is an independent security installer. We are not affiliated with, authorized by, or acting on behalf of the Government of Alberta or the Alberta Security Infrastructure Program. The Government of Alberta is solely responsible for administering ASIP and for all eligibility and funding decisions. For official program information, visit alberta.ca.
